I kept putting drawing off today, just out of general fatigue. I find myself doing this a lot. I also get in "theres nothing to draw" funks. I finally decided to blow these thoughts out by just drawing ANYTHING. I thought, "Dont even move. Just draw whats in front of you." So I did. This is the living room, as I see it from the reading chair.

Crow and Tea
Tonight I decided to start an Art Blog, under my own name. I have a website which showcases a lot of my art, but its Not maintained very well. I made this site a while back as to have an 'online art portfolio'. While I was out with an artist friend for coffee today, he mentioned that a great way to get your art out there, and to show your dedication, is to have a blog. And building up a portfolio is good too. My main problem with all these things is going the distance with dedication: to stay on track, to keep creating, to be committed. The only way to know how this will go is to begin somewhere, though. "There is nothing to fear but fear itself".
My first posting is a drawing of a crow my friend John and I watched pillage a garbage can for a McDonalds bag... and I drew my Hibiscus Iced Tea :).
